A provider name is not coverage.
MEO, NOS and Vodafone are the main networks. Test hills, older buildings, rail routes, the Algarve and island destinations rather than relying on a Lisbon-only experience.
Test the future home, hill or Metro commute, intercity rail route and any Algarve, Madeira or Azores location relevant to the move.
Start with the provider's exact network field, then compare it with the current official sources below. A coverage map is a prediction and cannot guarantee signal inside a future home.
Routing matters too.An international eSIM may send traffic through an overseas gateway. That can affect latency, IP-based services and where an app thinks you are even when the local radio signal is strong.
