Advertised coverage
The provider lists Thailand (THB), Vietnam (VND) and CIS countries as available. It puts the Philippines, Japan and other named markets in its coming-soon list. Its public English pages do not identify which Thai or Vietnamese QR variants will scan successfully.
01How it works
Sign in through the app or Telegram, add a supported crypto balance, scan a local QR and confirm. Antarctic says a verified counterparty pays the local invoice while the equivalent crypto is deducted from your wallet. This is different from sending crypto to a merchant wallet address.
02Cost to check
Its FAQ lists external-wallet top-up charges of $2.75 for USDT on TRC20, 0.2 TON for TON, and $0 for USDT on TON. These are top-up charges, not a published all-in QR price. Check the crypto debit, local amount and exchange rate before each payment.
03Important limit
The FAQ says top-ups are currently available only from an external wallet, although the homepage advertises card top-up. Treat card funding as unconfirmed until it appears in your account. The FAQ also states a 1 TON minimum when paying with TON; identity checks apply, and QR compatibility may vary.
Before you rely on it
Check the live route
Before travelling, confirm account eligibility, the supported asset and network, the fee and exchange quote, and one real low-value QR payment. Keep cash or a separate card available.
