Self custody stablecoin wallet using Abroad payout
Advertised coverage
Zypto lists Brazil's Pix and Colombia's Nequi/Bre-B as live local payment routes. Its country catalogue lists other markets for different products; those are not Pay Abroad QR coverage.
01How it works
Hold supported USDC or USDT in the Zypto App, choose Pay Abroad, scan the local merchant barcode or use a recipient key, and approve conversion. Zypto says Abroad pays the recipient in BRL over Pix or COP through Colombia's supported local route.
02Cost to check
Zypto says the app displays the rate and fee before confirmation but does not publish a fixed universal fee. Compare the total stablecoin debit with the local amount received; payments are described as immediate and irreversible.
03Important limit
The supported asset depends on the chain: Zypto lists USDC on Stellar and Solana and USDC or USDT on Celo. Its Colombia page discusses Nequi and Bre-B together; confirm the exact recipient QR and account eligibility in a live quote. This uses Abroad infrastructure and is not an independent payout network.
Before you rely on it
Check the live route
Use the matching chain and token, verify the recipient name, quote and final local amount, and test a small payment before relying on it for larger purchases.
